The Administration for Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Herzegovina-Neretva County is organized as a single organizational unit directly managed by the Director. The business center of this Administration is located in Mostar at Stjepana Radića Street No. 3, tel: 312-183, 321-438, fax: 326-354. The Administration for Displaced Persons and Refugees performs administrative, professional and other tasks stipulated by the Law, which relate to: - managing and implementing the county policy regarding the rights and welfare of displaced persons, displaced persons and refugee-returnees, - continuous work to create political, economic and social conditions that will achieve the voluntary and safe return of displaced persons and refugees in the territory of the Herzegovina-Neretva County, - drafting the County Law on Displaced Persons and Refugees, as well as other legal acts based on the Constitutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Herzegovina-Neretva County, - keeping central records; making a list of displaced persons, exiles and refugee-returnees in the territory of Herzegovina-Neretva County, - adoption of the annual plan of return to the territory of Herzegovina-Neretva County, - resolution of the status of displaced persons, exiles and refugee-returnees in the administrative procedure and determination of the authorities that lead the first instance procedure, - planning the construction of facilities and settlements for the accommodation of displaced persons, exiles and refugee-exiles in case of emergency, - managing the database and coordinating the work of municipal information centers, - coordinating the work of transit-reception and collective centers in the area of ​​Herzegovina-Neretva County, - preparing and passing a balance sheet of necessary funds for the county in order to create conditions for the faster implementation of the plan for the return of displaced persons, - cooperation with federal, county and international organizations in solving the problems of displaced persons, exiles and refugee-returnees, - support of humanitarian projects implemented by non-governmental humane organizations from all areas in the area of ​​Herzegovina-Neretva County, - taking care of implementation of the Act and other regulations in this area, - performing other tasks related to the issues of displaced persons, exiles and refugees-exiles.
