Minister:

Zanin Vejzović (SDP) was born on August 1, 1973 in Mostar. He earned the title of graduate engineer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Džemal Bijedić in Mostar, and then the title of Master of Science and Doctor of Science at the Faculty of Information Technologies of the University of Džemal Bijedić in Mostar. He works as an associate professor at the University of Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. He published a large number of scientific works.

The Ministry of Economy performs administrative and professional tasks related to:

  • industry and mining,

  • geological research exploitation of mineral raw materials,

  • distribution and distribution of energy,

  • determining the balance of production of coal and other industrial mineral raw materials,

  • assignment and acquisition of material rights to technology and industrial property,

  • monitoring production and taking appropriate measures for its realization and improvement,

  • organizing energy activities,

  • determining and monitoring the achievement of the energy balance,

  • distribution and distribution of energy,

  • construction, use and maintenance of energy facilities and plants,

  • systematic encouragement of entrepreneurship (craftsmanship and cooperatives),

  • domestic production protection policy,

  • economic cooperation with foreign countries,

  • encouraging exports and foreign investments,

  • drawing up laws and other regulations within their jurisdiction,

  • resolution in the administrative procedure within its competence, and other tasks that are placed in its competence by law.
