Ivan Lesko was born on November 24, 1963 in Veliki Ograđenik, Čitluk Municipality. He earned a degree in geodetic engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Department of Geodesy, University of Sarajevo. He worked as an expert associate and as a director in the Municipal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs of the Municipality of Čitluk, then as an assistant director in the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs of HR Herceg-Bosna, and as an assistant director and director in the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs. He initiated and organized a number of projects and events in the field of geodesy and cadastre, and published more than 20 papers in domestic and international publications. He is married and has three children.
